7 MONTHS OLD!!

Oh my goodness! My little man is 7 months old as of yesterday, and I CANNOT believe how fast time is flying. He's crawling and pulling up now, and before I know it, I'll be boo-hooing dropping him off for his first day of kindergarden. Where is the time going? I truly wonder where my life has gone over the past 10 yrs. Is that normal? I mean to feel like your life has just escaped you? I don't even know what I did before I had my little bundle of joy. He's my world.

Here's a little insight on how G's bday went... lunch with Mom, Dad, Pops and Dovie. Mom and Dovie went to get their nails done, so I went with Dad and Pops (Oh Lordy). THEN... where did we go? LOWES!!! Dad plans on making it a Saturday tradition to take me there when I get older. (The funny part is, Grant really thinks a toddler will enjoy Lowes. LOL!) After Lowes, we came to my house and I played, played and played. Check out the video below to see how much fun I had. Oh, please pay attention to me checking out my hand, Pops laughing at me, and then me making the funniest little chuckle. Could I be any cuter? I think not :)

G FORCE: Mission Accomplished

All of you who know my husband, Grant, know that he is very ambitious and driven. Well, over the past several months, he has created this online business, that is one of a kind, for his industry. He has built this thing from nothing to something potentially MASSIVE, and I can't tell you how proud I am of him! He has put blood, sweat and tears into this company, and it finally launched this week. AND so far, it's offering just what he has worked so hard for...Success! I cannot stress to everyone enough how hard working and devoted this man is. Not only that, he is the most loving, caring and wonderful husband and father. I am such a lucky woman! Good job babe!

Keepin' Up With Gavin....literally.

What better way to start off my first blog than with a little bit of bragging on my baby boy! Yes, I am a proud mama, so please bear with me. I've decided since I am starting this mid stream, I will just begin with the latest milestone he has reached...CRAWLING!  A couple of weeks ago, at 6 1/2 months old, he started his "let's MAKE mom get back in shape by having to chase me everywhere" mission. I know this is only the beginning, but MAN he is a busy boy!  

We have decided to invest in a gate yard that traps him in a certain area, because when he's not hightailing it to go anywhere but on his play mat, he is torturing Cooper (our bulldog) by pulling his nub, ears or chops. I have to add that Cooper may be an abnormally rambunctious bulldog, but he does, thankfully, have patience with Gavin. Anyway, my little explorer is on the move, and lucky for us, we caught his "first crawl" on video. We were sitting in Grant's mom's office on the floor playing. I noticed he started to pick his hands up in coordination with his knees, so I had Grant start to video with his phone. As you will notice,we were all pretty excited! Yay Gavin!!
